Becoming part of the team here at Arkansas Orthodontics is an achievable goal for secondary school or college graduates as well as other career prospects. Dr. P likes his staff to be trained on site, by specially chosen “trainers” from among the team. Everyone starts at the central sterilization position, which is vital to the health and function of the practice. From time to time, there are openings in front office personnel, the new patient diagnostic records “crew” or chairside assistants.
Several of our team members are headed toward dental or hygiene school. Although it is very satisfying for Dr. P to mentor those future dental professionals, the team is solidly staffed with career members. There is usually always a place for an excellent orthodontic assistant who wants to make a career out of orthodontic assisting.
