Remember, this is a SMILE competition, which means we need you to show off those perfect pearly whites of yours! Need some pointers on the kinds of photos that make the best submissions? Look no further! Keep the following suggestions in mind when choosing your two pictures.
- Number one, most super-duper important tip is to SMILE! You guys are some good-looking kids on your own, but we want to see those bright shiny smiles. Save your “duck-face” for Facebook.
- Say “Cheese!” When you smile, show your teeth. We’re not looking for an exam here (we’ll save that for your next appointment), but the better your smile can be seen, the better chance you have to reach the top 40.
- Send in the best quality photos that you can. Consider using high resolution and make sure the picture is in focus. Maybe Bigfoot really is blurry, but you’re not!
- Make sure that your photo isn’t too small. Our selection committee blows up these photos on a projector and the teeny-tiny ones can get distorted and hard to see.
- Pictures with your friends and family are okay, but make sure that the nominee is clearly marked. If we don’t know which one you are, you can’t win!
- Show off your personality and have fun! We like creative kids and celebrate the diversity of our patients. Show us what makes you stand out.
- Have a clean smile and show off what great care you take of your teeth!
